Shimmer Glow, original

Look at those reds and oranges just exploding across the lavender. The colors overlap and bleed into each other, those little dots scattered everywhere like Clara was having fun just flicking paint around. When the glitter catches the light, the whole thing comes alive. This is the one for your space when you want to stop overthinking and just enjoy life, as Clara does!

The Shimmer Collection

You know that feeling when you open something, and you feel overwhelmed with joy, happiness, and you want to cry, laugh, scream?

That’s what people keep saying when they unwrap one of Clara’s originals. Suddenly, it’s not just a painting on a wall. It feels like it belongs to you. Clara has been painting nonstop. Watching her in the studio right now is beautiful. In a few weeks, we’ll be heading to Italy to see her art at the Olympic Museum (which still feels unreal), but for now, all she wants to do is paint. She’s 19, and I’ve never seen her so alive in her work. The studio is her happy place!

The SHIMMER collection started here! These are smaller originals (12x12” and 14x14”) so more people can bring a little piece of Clara home. Not everyone has the space or the budget for a big painting. These are made for small spaces, cozy corners, or to sit beside other pieces you already love. Each painting gets a soft, delicate layer of glitter, just a touch that catches the light as you walk by and glows quietly.

One thing Clara loves most is meeting the people who connect with her art. Watching those relationships grow is super cool. We hope this San Valentino, you’ll become part of the story too.

SPOTTED IN

Hi, I’m Clara.

Sometimes people tell me I shouldn’t dream so big. That because I can’t speak, read, or write, I should “stay quiet.” But I don’t want to stay quiet. I want to paint louder.

I had a stroke while I was still in my mom’s womb. The doctors told her my life would be a nightmare. But here I am — building my future.

Even though I can’t speak, read, or write, I understand three languages — English, Portuguese, and Italian. I guess my brain found its own way to communicate, just not the one doctors expected.

I’m writing this with the help of my mom (my business partner, my best friend, and my biggest cheerleader) and ChatGPT — and reading it with my text-to-speech app.

Painting became my language. It’s how I share everything I can’t say with words — my love, my anger, my hope, and my joy. Because even if my voice sounds different, I want you to hear me.
