Left or right tells the story of Clara; it is a self-portrait that we unconsciously believe represents the difference between her right side and her left side.
The most significant damage to her brain is in her left side. Consequently, her right side doesn't work: she has difficulty grasping objects and walking.
The design Clara made has a clear division between the two sides, it is even in different colors. The right leg is much bigger, and her arms are different, but the smile remains at the center of the composition.
