Happy Glow, Original
Happy Glow
CW0992 - 2024
Acrylic on canvas
15x30" (38 x 76 cm)
From the “After the Rain” original art series by Clara Woods
I named this one Happy Glow because that’s what it feels like in our home when we finally breathe after a hard season.
Life isn’t just about the storms — sometimes it’s just dancing around the house, watching a movie together, celebrating Davi’s little victories, going to the beach, and sometimes it’s just sitting in the studio, music up, watching her throw pink and neon orange everywhere until the whole place feels alive.
The frame is not included.
This painting came from one of those mornings — no big plan, just Clara pouring out energy, strength, and all the emotions she can’t always explain. And when I look at it, I feel that same thing we always find after the rain: a glow that reminds us life keeps moving, and joy always finds its way back.
Hang Happy Glow on your wall as a daily reminder:
Even when things feel heavy, there’s always a moment waiting to make you smile again.

Hi, I’m Clara.
Sometimes people tell me I shouldn’t dream so big. That's because I can’t speak, read, or write, I should “stay quiet.” But I don’t want to stay quiet. I want to paint louder.
I had a stroke while I was still in my mom’s womb. The doctors told her my life would be a nightmare. But here I am — building my future.
Even though I can’t speak, read, or write, I understand three languages — English, Portuguese, and Italian. I guess my brain found its own way to communicate, just not the one doctors expected.
I’m writing this with the help of my mom (my business partner, my best friend, and my biggest cheerleader) and ChatGPT — and reading it with my text-to-speech app.
Painting became my language. It’s how I share everything I can’t say with words — my love, my anger, my hope, and my joy. Because even if my voice sounds different, I want you to hear me.

I want everyone in the world to have one of my artworks because...
