This quote… it hits deep.
When I look at this painting, I see Clara. I see all the days when things felt heavy. When she was left out. When people stared like she was from another planet. When her body made everything harder than it should be.
But then… she paints.
She takes all of that—the pain, the weirdness, the loneliness—and turns it into something full of soul and color. Broken is wild, emotional, a little chaotic. Just like life.
The hearts are full of faces—some smiling, some looking tired, some just… there. And that’s the truth, right? Sometimes we’re all those things in the same day.
I remember one day when Clara looked at me after a long, exhausting week, and she just smiled and said nothing, but I felt it: “I'm still here. I'm broken, but I'm here.”
This painting is for people like us. People who keep going, even when it’s messy. People who’ve been through stuff but still have love to give. Still have something to say. Still show up.

In most cases, when I paint on canvas, I also paint the borders, so it is not necessary to frame the painting. The boards are part of the artwork. To hang it on the wall, you can easily follow a youtube tutorial that teaches in shorts steps how to do it or you can write to info@clarawoods.art and ask for a 20 min videocall with my dad Carlo. He is magic and can guide you!

I’m Clara Woods—an artist, entrepreneur, and game-changer on a mission to inspire. I was born a a stroke in my mom’s womb, which left me unable to speak, read, or write. But that hasn’t stopped me! I understand three languages and found my voice through art. My bold, colorful paintings reflect my resilience, passion, and determination to share my story with the world.
When I was just 12, I held my first exhibition in Florence, Italy. My mom, Betina, believed in my dream, and together we built Clara Woods Collection, turning my passion for art into a thriving business. I became an entrepreneur, showing that creativity and ambition have no limits—no matter your age or abilities. My mom even sold her own successful company to focus on my career, and our bond is at the heart of everything we’ve achieved.
Today, I’ve hosted over 30 exhibitions across three continents, sold more than 800 original artworks, and built an amazing global community of over 1.5 million followers. I was honored to be named an Internet Gamechanger by Forbes and Facebook for the positive impact I’ve made on inclusion and creativity.
