Clara made this piece in her new art classes. She walked in with a blank canvas and a photo she chose as inspiration. And then started getting Clara's messages. She kept sending me pictures as the painting was coming to life

I wasn’t expecting that style. First picture, I said: It is cool, Second picture, I said: It is good, Third picture, I said WOW and when Clara came home carrying this huge canvas, she was shining. You know that look she gets — proud, but quiet, happy, but pretending to act normal.

She just put the painting down, looked at me, and said, “You can add this to the new collection.” I loved it because it was Clara showing responsibility, trust, and ownership of her art and her business. A shift. A sign that she’s growing — not only as an artist, but as a young woman finding her place.

This artwork celebrates exactly that feeling. The idea that we don’t wait for happiness — we create it. Clara created hers in this painting, and you can feel it everywhere on the canvas.

I had a stroke inside my mom’s belly, so I can’t speak, read, or write—but I understand three languages and use art to share my feelings with the world.

I started painting when I was 11, just for fun. Then I read a book about Frida Kahlo and everything changed. She became my muse, and I decided to follow her steps. At 12, I had my first art exhibition—and never stopped.
