Three Facts About Clara Woods
Hi Guys!
Here are three facts that you need to know about Clara and her art!
1) In the beginning, Clara used to destroy her art. Or she would cover it black, or she would literally destroy it. It took months for her to accept her art and start showing it to us. She started painting with a very nice teacher named Astrid, who was patient and understood Clara in a deep way, which we cannot explain. This is one of the first artworks we have from Clara, and it is hanging in our house because she gave it as a gift for my parents (Clara's grandparents). It is called Rainbow Dool.

Hi Clara, hi Betina :-)
You know what? My friend Manuela put up a new painting in her house. A portrait of Frida Kahlo! A friend of Manuela painted it and it is beautiful.
When I saw it the first time a few days ago, I immediately thought of you, Clara. I hope I can take a picture of the painting soon and send it to you. Safe travels, big hugs, e mile gelati per tuti per favore :-) :-) :-)Maja on

I love your ability to see the world around you and paint it the way YOU SEE IT!
I can’t even draw a stick figure.
I make cards, jewelry, accordion style scrapbooks, notebooks and I used to scrapbook for my friends.
I am 74 years young.
We each have our own talents.
Yours is amazing!
