The Inclusion Matters Podcast: From a Tiny Seed to a Big Dream

Some dreams take time.
Some need a few tries (and a few fails).
And some... just need the right people to show up at the right time.

The idea of launching a podcast started a long time ago.
In the beginning, I imagined it would be just Clara and me, talking, sharing our journey, and inviting people into our world. I even tried to start it a couple of times, but something always felt off. It wasn’t the right time. Or maybe it just wasn’t the right shape yet.

But deep in my heart, I always had this little voice that said: Do something with Adin.
Since the day we met him, I knew he and Clara had something special. There was a connection — a spark.

Fast forward to this year: Adin came to one of our events.
And when I saw him again, it just clicked.
This podcast wasn’t supposed to be me and Clara. It was always meant to be Clara and Adin.

So we talked.
We dreamed.
We started.

To be honest, I thought it would be easier. But if you know me… you know me.

I like to create things from the heart. I like to try new ways. And I like to do things well.
So while one side of my brain was like,
"WHY are you doing this? More work, more people to manage, more money to find..."
The other side whispered:
"This is the dream. Just follow it."

So I did.

We did a test episode — and Clara and Adin were SO good together. It felt natural. It felt right.
We chose Davi (Clara’s brother) as our first guest, to keep it in a safe and cozy zone for everyone. And it turned out amazing.

And then — because life is kind — a little miracle showed up.

I was sitting at my desk at Rogue Collective, talking to my best friend (yes, J.C., that one), saying: "How in the world am I supposed to film this podcast by myself? Two phones, no crew…"
And who walks into the room?
Rafael Roma.

If you don’t know him, you should. He’s a videography master, an artist, and one of the calmest people I’ve ever met. We’ve worked together before, and I just casually told him about this wild podcast idea.
I also said, “...but no funds right now.”
And guess what?

He said yes anyway.

He jumped in.
He brought his friend Renato.
And when we showed up to record that first episode, we had a full professional setup. Just like that.

A sign.

A beautiful, messy, magical sign that we were on the right path.

And here we are now. The podcast is out.
Clara and Adin are leading powerful conversations about inclusion, resilience, and real life.
And this is just the beginning.

If you haven’t seen it yet, go check out the first episode.

There’s also a behind-the-scenes look at how it all started (and all the chaos and laughs in between).

🎙 The Inclusion Matters Podcast is now live on YouTube, Spotify, and wherever you love to listen.

Follow us. Share it. Be part of the movement.
We’ve got a lot more stories to tell.

Sending love and colors,
Betina
