For a long time, it was hard for me to explain what we do. We’re not selling a thing you can hold and measure, like a phone or a pair of shoes. We’re sharing feelings. Emotions. Hope. That was tricky for my brain to get at for a long time.

Every single word gave a new meaning to this work I’ve been doing for years. It’s like I’m falling in love with our business all over again!

At the beginning, I thought I had to follow the “rules” of the art world. Keep things exclusive. Only a few people could own a piece of Clara’s art so it would feel more “valuable.”
