Happy Frida, Painting, Acylic on canvas, 2022 (24"x24")

$785.00

Clara painted "Happy Frida" after she went to the Immersive Experience of Frida in Los Angeles in April 2022.

The immersive experience, from our point of view, was not so good. Clara said that the exhibition was dark and sad. However, she was thrilled to be there and walk around some of Frida's artworks.

As you probably know, Frida is Clara's muse. Frida is the one that inspired Clara to be a painter, and that motivated Clara to ask to do her first exhibition. During the last few years, Frida has been a constant presence in our family, mainly like an aunt that lives far from us!

Clara portrayed a happy Frida, with emojis around her. She also copied the name of Frida, but in the first version of the painting, it was written: Frida Kahlo. We found this "mistake" lovely, but Clara wanted to correct it immediately when we shared it with her.

Why could you invest in Clara's art?

Clara started her carrier inspired by Frida Kahlo in 2018, at just 12 years old. Since then, Clara has had remarkable success in her journey. Clara had more than 30 exhibitions on three continents (Europe, America, and Asia), sold more than 700 original artworks worldwide, and obtained an American visa as an extraordinary talent.

Clara's art and life served as inspiration for the book "Voce su tela" published by KM Edizioni in Italy, the video book "The incredible, unbelievable and unstoppable Clara" published by The Brilliant Kid App in the United States, and the TV series "Estraordinariamente normali" produced by the Italian channel TV 2000.

Clara was featured in important magazines and newspapers such as Forbes, Grazia, Marie Claire, FAD, and Arts of Life. Clara also worked with the legend of contemporary art and fashion, Virgil Abloh. Last but not least Louis Vuitton group hosted Clara's exhibition in Art Basel Miami in 2021 to celebrate the international day of people with disabilities.

Clara's artworks prices raised 645% in 4 years.

Clara owns the company Clara Woods LLC together with her mom Betina. Clara's family is raising the brand Clara Woods Collection to build a future with and for Clara. The main goal is to create a structure that, in the end, can help other artists with disabilities to rise as Clara did.
Clara Woods Collection talks about diversity, inclusion, and equality. Clara's art speaks of the hope of chasing a dream and the beauty of risking everything to pursue
something unconventional. It speaks of love and resilience.

Clara Woods brief history: Clara had a perinatal stroke and massive brain damage. Doctors didn't expect any evolution in Clara's life. Clara can understand three languages (Portuguese, English, and Italian), but she can not speak, write or read. Art is one of the ways she communicates, and it is where she can be 100% herself. How to install the artwork on the wall when it arrives?

In most cases, when Clara paints on canvas, she also paints the borders, so it is not necessary to frame the painting. The boards are part of the artwork. To hang it on the wall, you can easily follow a youtube tutorial that teaches in shorts steps how to do it.

What are places in my house best suited to place it?

It is a very personal decision, and it depends on your taste. But we advise you to hang it in a place that you can see and live it every day. Clara's paintings bring joy to your life and can flourish emotions you never imagined.

How do you need to handle your painting?
Clara's artworks have a layer of UV acrylic translucent paint. You can wipe off dust with a humid toil.

Returns

If you don't like your painting or it does not fit well on your wall, you can return it within ten days of the date you received it at your home.
