Clara and Joshua Stevens Join Forces for the Inclusion Matters Movement at Rocky’s Backyard Ultra Race

Clara is set to team up with Joshua Stevens, an ultra-runner who has proven the impossible wrong. Together, they aim to spread the word about the Inclusion Matters Movement and inspire the world to dream big.

Born with a perinatal stroke that left her unable to speak or write, Clara Woods found her voice through art. Now 18, Clara has built an impressive career, exhibiting her work globally, including a significant showing at Art Basel in 2021. Clara's art not only reflects her inner world but also carries a powerful message of inclusion and acceptance. Through her Inclusion Matters Movement, Clara is on a mission to create a world where everyone is valued, and differences are celebrated.

Joshua Stevens is no stranger to overcoming challenges. In 2011, doctors told him he would never run again after enduring a second cervical spinal cord surgery to repair wounds he received during combat operations in Iraq. After a four-year hiatus from racing, Joshua came across Clara’s Instagram profile and felt something deep within him reignite. Inspired by Clara's story and her movement, Joshua decided to run again—this time for Clara. Joshua will compete in Rocky’s Backyard Ultra Race in Estes Park, Colorado, on October 5th, 2024. This grueling race, known for its unique last-man-standing format, will be Joshua’s way of raising awareness for the Inclusion Matters Movement and giving visibility to Clara's incredible career and business.

Clara and her family were overjoyed by Joshua’s decision and are thrilled to join him in Colorado. With the help of their credit card points, the family managed to book tickets to attend the race in person, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their mission to create a more inclusive world. Joshua's participation in this race is not just about running—it's about giving hope, sharing dreams, and inspiring others to believe in the power of inclusion.

To celebrate this incredible partnership and to encourage others to support the Inclusion Matters Movement, Clara's shop is offering a special discount. Use the promo code RUN to receive 15% off your purchase. Every item sold helps further Clara’s mission and spread her message of inclusion.
