Dancer is an artwork created by Clara Woods and the artists of La Casa de Carlota to celebrate people with disabilities! Most of the time, people with disabilities are seen as fragile and poor persons that had bad luck in life. And this is not true! And this artwork is delicate but at the same time so powerful, and we want to say: people with disabilities are badasses!
Believe it or not, they have much more to give to your life than you could ever imagine!
So you can hang this artwork on your wall to remember this every time you see it!
The frame is not included; the frame in the photo is for illustrative purposes only.
24 x 18" (61x45 cm)
This print is a limited edition of 30.
We are beyond thrilled to be able to share with you that, after months of hard work, we are finally ready to launch the La Casa de Carlota & Clara Woods collection. This exciting new venture results from a partnership between Clara and La Casa de Carlota in Sao Paulo, Brazil. La Casa de Carlota's concept - having a team of artists with disabilities who innovate and work on their projects outside the box - truly inspired us. We knew we wanted to find a way to bring their art together, and I'm so grateful that we were finally able to make it!
We are confident that you will take great pleasure in this compilation, which touches on topics of inclusion, diversity, breaking down barriers, various art forms and abilities, and heritage - something that is incredibly close to Clara's heart as she is Brazilian too.

It is a very personal decision, and it depends on your taste. But we advise you to hang it in a place that you can see and live it every day. Clara's paintings bring joy to your life and can flourish emotions you never imagined.
In most cases, when Clara paints on canvas, she also paints the borders, so it is not necessary to frame the painting. The boards are part of the artwork. To hang it on the wall, you can easily follow a youtube tutorial that teaches in shorts steps how to do it.
What an inspiration Clara is!
Despite doctors' prognoses, she has defied the odds and accomplished so much. She can't speak, write or read but understands Portugues, English and Italian.
Through art, she has found a way to express herself and connect with the world. It is so nice that her story touched so many people!
Clara began her career inspired by Frida Kahlo in 2018, at just 12 years old. Since then, Clara has had great success in her journey. Clara had more than 30 exhibitions on three continents (Europe, America, and Asia), sold more than 700 original artworks worldwide, and obtained an American visa as an extraordinary talent.
