"Pistacchio." This artwork's name is Pistacchio because it is the favorite ice-cream flavor of Betina. Clara represents Betina, the mom, as the giant Pistacchio ice cream. As you can see in the painting, Pistacchio is protective and happy ice cream with big and expressive eyes. And then you have Clara, a small ice cream, with eyes trying to understand the world around her. Note that each one of them has a ring on the lips; who know what this means? Maybe it is something connected with the fact that Clara is non-verbal.
